Pros

Looking back at my time at Entourage I can confidently say that it was some of the most valuable years of my career in business development to date. I was lucky enough to join at a time when the company was going through rapid expansion which not only gave me a lot of time working closely with the co-founders but also gave me the opportunity to be exposed to different areas of the business which helped evolve my knowledge of what it takes to deliver quality work for clients across business development, content strategy, data and insights and event programmes. The co-founders were always happy to give me their time to help develop my pitching skills and I felt they always had my career progression in mind when reviewing my performance. From a culture perspective, I found Entourage a great place to work and the co-founders spent time and effort to create an environment where I felt I had autonomy in my role with guidance and support when needed. Socially, there was a great atmosphere across the team with regular individual and team incentives which created a competitive and fun sales environment. I left the business not only with professional mentors in the co-founders but also friends who I've continued to keep in touch with to date.

Cons

The office dog needed some training!

Pros

- Your co-workers are very friendly. - Lots of drinking if you’re into that lifestyle.

Cons

- Terrible senior leadership, ran like a dictatorship. - No HR presence at all, major red flag. - Zero benefits, just a basic wage and commission for sales roles. - Outrageous monthly targets that are never hit but continue to increase each month for a never ending cycle of failure.

Pros

- Great colleagues - Line Managers are good

Cons

- Unachievable targets (based on what the company needs, not what's realistically achievable) - SLT is disconnected from the people on the ground - Compensation is not suitable for level of work - Poor motivation - Line managers are burdened with too much workload to support their own team effectively - No HR
