Pros
Forward thinking leadership. Willing to employ out of college students through internships or normal hiring. Will train on the job as long as you meet some prerequisites. The new management is really pushing forward to advancing mainframe services as well as the technical ability of their employees
Cons
Will have to work late nights and weekends occasionally but those times are usually compensated. There are times where you're on call 24/7 but again, those times are compensated. Bottom line, your schedule might be working 8 hours in the middle of the night on a weekend for a client upgrade, but you can take monday off.
