Is this your company?

Stepping stone, that's all though. - Labor Foreman Energy Maintenance Services Employee Review

Pros

You will get a Company truck, and that is about all that the stingy company will give you. It's Pathetic.

Cons

Will not supply uniforms, pathetic management team, poor communication on all levels, will not reimburse you for personal money spent on job related purchases until you raise a lot of hell about it. EMS USA Inc once had great management and superintendents who could hustle up any kind of work for any employee but now that fire everyone who helps put money back in the checking account. Management will not work with the customers, and will charge every single thing you have on the Project to the company for an outrageous up charge. Will barely give you a raise. Been here for 2 years and only received a $2 raise from $12/h to $14/h as a labor foreman. You have to keep convincing yourself that the company truck makes up for the $4/hr you could be making down the road at another company.

Pros

company truck, gas card, toll pass, training available, multiple locations to work from

Cons

This company can not pay their bills. They meet weekly to determine what bills they will blow off on a weekly basis. They are owned by a group of investors, do not care to put money into the company, trying to sqeeze every last penny out of everyone they have. you might get a company truck, but if you do? it's got a gps tracker and they spy on you. They will track your every move. new leadership wants to bring in his sorry people from out of the area. all canadians??? they don't have connectins to the pipeline industry, no contacts in the O&G business in houston. They pay under market and expect you to give up all your personal lives to become their indentured servants. They cut corners on safety which makes me believe they don't care about us laborers. Benefits are available, but cost more than on the obamacare marketplace option. they say they contribute, but I don't believe they do. Almost 500 a week for insurnace for my family. That is crazy.
