Be weary of job opportunities which involve "field work". They were not transparent with the scope of work required for the project EIT position. It was mentioned that field work would be required for the first "few months", however, on the second day we were told that this would consists of walking around outside 8.5 hours per day without ever having to set foot in the office. The extent of this work was not discussed during the interviews and it came as a major surprise. They also left out the fact that we would be required to use our own vehicle to commute all over the lower mainland every day without being reimbursed for travel to/from site at the beginning/end of day.
