Pros

- Good pay (best in ATL actually) - High acuity so lots to learn - Great resources (RT, VAT, EKG teams, etc.)

Cons

- Bully and racism are the floor culture. They lied in the interview and lied while on the job. - Unit director only care about the year-end bonus instead of making sure floor is staffed. - Unit director has and only care about her favorites. - There are many many floor's policy. Even make up some random things and lied that it is Emory Policy. - Support is there with some RNs and tech but majorly absent. - Mostly travelers are hired for floor without basic education so they did not do the job properly. Instead of providing proper teaching, managers decided to assign staffs heavy, high acuity patients.

Pros

Pay and benefits are good

Cons

Leadership needs significant improvement. Promotions often appear to be based more on personal relationships than on experience, qualifications, or selecting the best candidate for the position. Leadership also fails to adequately address bullying and toxic workplace behavior, allowing it to continue unchecked. As a result, many locations feel disorganized and chaotic due to inconsistent leadership, poor communication, and a lack of accountability.
