Pros
- Great co-workers. - Management was approachable. - Decent pay. - Reasonable hours. - Good benefits. - Relaxed office environment. - Lots of ways to keep employees engaged (events, games and incentives). - There are times of the year when it gets really stressful, especially during onboarding. Did not feel like we were left out to dry during these moments. Definitely had our team to help us out. - Only left because the Student Support department doesn't allow working remotely full-time (moved to a different city)
Cons
- Working on American schedule, have to work all/most Canadian holidays. - Flex Scheduling needs to be explained more thoroughly and metrics to be eligible for it need to be reevaluated. - There are some people that find it difficult to have a work/life balance. Bring work home with them. This can be pretty stressful on a person. - As a Student Support Specialist there isn't much room to go up in the company.
