Pros
I tried really hard to find something positive to say… still searching.
Cons
Where do I begin? Employee Benefits: Practically non-existent. If benefits are important to you, take my advice RUN! Company Trips: A creative concept, you’re encouraged to “bond,” but the days are deducted from your annual leave. Team spirit apparently runs on your entitlement balance. Management Layer: A group more focused on occupying meeting rooms and entertaining the CEO than actually running the business. Productivity seems secondary to performative alignment. CEO: Very enthusiastic about being “AI-driven.” Heavy reliance on ChatGPT with zero sense of leadership. Confidence levels are sky-high; originality, less so. Many ideas appear conveniently borrowed from leaders in other markets. Very active on social media, where noise outweighs substance. If visibility is your thing, you’ll be pleased to know his presence is everywhere, figuratively, digitally, and quite literally around the office. Company Culture: Less of a workplace, more of a belief system. Questioning, dissent, or independent thinking is quietly discouraged. Alignment is expected; obedience is rewarded. Labour law: seems optional here, treated more as a guideline than a requirement. Internal “company rules” change frequently and conveniently, often at the expense of employees who are less informed about their rights. Policies are rewritten, reinterpreted, and enforced selectively. Keeping up with the latest version of “the rules” feels like a job on its own and an irritating one. This is not a workplace for professionals seeking structure, integrity, or leadership. It’s an ongoing experiment in ego-driven management, performative innovation, and cult-like loyalty. If you’re comfortable trading stability and growth for chaos and applause, you may survive and possibly even thrive. Everyone else should proceed with EXTREME CAUTION!
