Pros

One of the two founders is, after more than 30 years, still working in the company and his passion continues to drive the activities. Purpose comes first! The result: Electude's e-learning for technical vocational students is of such high quality that once customers experience it, they want nothing else. Being able to market a superior proposition is a daily pleasure. :) Moreover, working in the education sector means dealing with pleasant people, on the customer-side as well as in the company itself. And although Electude is a business, it often feels like a family. The company is highly supportive of and loyal to its employees and offers a lot of practical flexibility, e.g. working hours, holidays, hybrid working.

Cons

Electude is a scale-up company and with that come growing pains. Many processes and systems are not up to par. It takes time and a lot of energy to get that organized. The good thing is that as an employee you can make a meaningful and visible contribution, which is not always the case in bigger companies. Most colleagues are very experienced but don't always know what is needed to take the company to the next level. However, with Electude being an organization that is centered around learning, it means that they are highly appreciative of knowledge, skills, and experience new contributors can bring.

Pros

Collaborative, supportive, challenging, fun. It has been a great experience working here.

Cons

It is a smaller company so we have to do everything -- far less supporters than in a big company.

Pros

Great people, healthy work-life balance, an international culture, and a U.S. team backed by a strong support system with a dedicated, hard-working leader.

Cons

Outdated processes and systems, even simple changes, can take too long. Corporate in the Netherlands can create challenges with U.S. standards.
