Pros
Great place to start out. You'll get to do everything from designing, purchasing machining, and inspecting to assembly. The hands-on experience is extremely valuable in your first couple years. Most of the young employees are friendly and great to work with.
Cons
(the following is my opinion) The owner is a racist. Several of the managers are racists. Complaints about millennials and "towel heads" were common from my manager, despite the fact that probably 90% of the company is millennials. Very of the managers have any idea how to manage employees and it's nearly impossible to get feedback or meaningful guidance. Your experience will vary wildly depending on your manager and it can be difficult to move to a different team. Seniority is way overvalued so starting engineers get terrible pay for the first couple years and get very little respect from the older employees. Moving to a different company nearby was the best decision I made. Culture and work environment are 100% better and managers are actually helpful and engaged.
