Pros
The vast majority of people employed here are all incredibly helpful and great to work with, and are the main reason I had stayed here as long as I did. Quarterly events that are put on by the business are enjoyable and a great way to provide business updates whilst rewarding the people working tirelessly every day.
Cons
If you value being paid fairly or listened to, then don't work here. The way this business has changed in the last 19 months since I began working here is horrendous, and unless some drastic changes happen in the next year I can't imagine it will even exist by then. This review will read quite negatively, which could have been avoided had I been given an exit interview from the business to properly feed back my reasons for leaving, I chased this twice after handing in my notice and nothing came of it. For a company that always talks about progression, they're extremely intent on not providing it. If you apply for another job internally, don't expect to hear back about your success. If a member of your team leaves, don't expect to be successful in a pay rise request to take on their work as it will be put on you anyway with no extra support. SLT are rude and unknowledgeable of the industry they work in, as the business continues to fill it's knowledge gaps with non-industry experts the ship will carry on sinking. The business has transformed into a money hungry monster which only cares about getting customers through the door and lining their pockets with consumers money. You will be underpaid if you work here. Compare similar job roles to other competitor business' and you will see a LARGE margin in what someone is worth. Even with all the one person departments and redundancies, you still won't see fair pay. The company will always talk about investing in people, but never provide the resource or time for you to expand and grow your knowledge.
