Pros
Work is in a niche area of international development finance especially focused on climate policy - energy, mobility, waste management, urban sectors. There is a steep learning curve if your background is not from these specific domains. Work culture is friendly, informal and everyone is eager to help one another. Even as an early career professional, you'll have client-facing roles, business development functions. The structure is largely horizontal, with the MD being the single POC for all matters - operations and administrative. Overall, a highly professional environment with great potential for personal and professional growth.
Cons
The work load is uneven - periods of high-intensity workload, chasing timelines, followed by periods of almost no work. This can be better managed.
Work from home policy can be bit more flexible and clearer, with WFH being more liberal during lull work periods
Lesser monitoring of leaves will be better, especially if the leaves are within the permissible paid leave structure
More senior management staff would be useful since all the matters (operational and administrative) are decided by a single person currently.
