Pros
Seriously, work here if you're a therapist! Greta, the founder of EDRS, is such a delightful human. I've worked at many places before where I don't feel supported as an employee and human, my word isn't valued, and I don't get compensated well. At EDRS, I feel like I'm being seen for my worth. I'm paid super well, especially if you compare within the field of SW. If I'm feeling overwhelmed, I am heard and supported. The network within EDRS of dietitians, therapists, recovery coaches, etc. is beautiful. Clients are totally met where they're at. There is sufficient weekly supervision and I feel like my clinical needs are met.
Cons
You have to work on weekend day and one weekday night. But for me, as a young person in the field, I seriously do not mind this! There is a lot of information to learn too, which is typical for any new job. But working in private practice for a while, this learning curve felt big.
