This company is a good way to learn about how not to run a business.

This company acts like they know everything about licensing, yet I was constantly having to figure out how to do my job by myself. I was overworked to the extreme and picked up slack from other employees. It caused me to lose interest in my work, and I began to suffer. Admittedly, I was let go due to the claim that I was disrespectful to their time, but if water cooler talk with other employees and being anxiety ridden about all the work I had is reason, so be it. I, along with four other employees, were made to attend mandatory training, which the president of the company said extremely distasteful comments about poverty and weight. I highly recommend you think twice about working for this company. They will easily draw you in with their words, but after a year you’ll be exhausted and drained from all the toxicity.

Get on-the-job training about music licensing laws and industry rates, get important contacts and record labels and publishing companies

Extremely toxic work environment. Recorded phone calls and frequent email surveillance. No days off for the first 6 months, then only 7 days a year. Ideas/suggestions for improvement are not welcome especially when coming from female employees. "Humility," "working like a navy seal," and "paying your dues" are extremely important values to management. Retaliation is common for expressing questions and concerns. Was required to participate in "mentoring sessions" that were facilitated by the CEO of the company who was directly responsible for hiring and firing.
