Pros

“Unlimited PTO” but that’s about it.

Cons

Low pay for the work done. Never know what time you will be off work because of the schedule and how many people call in sick or are gone (if someone calls in sick, their work gets put on top of other people’s tasks for the day). Most of the workers leave right when their work is done instead of asking others if they need help too. The teamwork is not great. Keep a close eye on your paystubs too. They are known to mess up taxes which results in you owing the next year even though you filled out the W4 correctly, and they input the information wrong. I am not one to look thoroughly over paystubs, I’ve never had to at any other company. (It’s the accountants job) All I do is check the paycheck amount 99% of the time. Turns out no federal taxes were taken out of my checks because they input my information from my W4 wrong, marking me exempt. If I would have known this I would have fixed it immediately or saved money. But no, now I owe a lot of money to the IRS and Emit refuses to help because “it’s my fault” although I filled the paperwork out correctly.

Pros

Flexibility (If office side) Changes are being made Criticism is appreciated (most days) Competitive Wages

Cons

There's no expectation of home life and work separation. Does someone need something on a weekend because they didn't do their job during the week? Be prepared to be bombarded with questions and then get ripped if you don't drop everything on a weekend to come in a help. There is no overtime or on call compensation - you will be forced to work for free. One of my pro's was criticism is welcomed - this belongs in both columns. If your criticism is given on a bad day for management, you're likely getting fired or your life is going to be a nightmare for the foreseeable future. If the CEO or COO decide they don't personally like you, you will be fired for a made up reason. There's very much a good ole boy setting here. If you're liked by the executives, you can do no wrong and anyone that opposes your view points will be fired.
