Pros

1. This company has a great work environment where you’ll be equipped with complete office equipment and adequate training for your role. You'll find unwavering support from your teammates, ensuring you never feel isolated or excluded, and they're always there to lend a helping hand whenever needed. 2. Requesting time off is easy, provided you give reasonable notice or when deliverable deadlines are not tight. With proper planning and allocation of your leave credits, you can enjoy well-deserved breaks throughout the year, striking a healthy work-life balance under fund accounting team. 3. Collaborating with overseas managers is seamless and with ease. Extensions on deadlines are reasonably granted when uncertainties arise. Communication channels within the team is widely open and resolving team conflicts are quietly and effectively dealt with professionalism. 4. Tenured or senior colleagues within the team usually offer guidance in navigating daily tasks. They are not dishonest and will redirect you to the right resources or individuals for assistance if the challenge is beyond their control. Every achievement, no matter how small, is acknowledged and celebrated to ensure everyone feels valued and recognized. 5. Wednesday socials are usual tradition in this tribe. They usually prepare delicious food, refreshing drinks, and the chance to unwind with karaoke sessions, alleviating mid-week work stress. Additionally, weekly staff meetings are complemented by catered lunches. 6. The company hosts regular cultural activities in every two months or quarter. Furthermore, they encourage personal development through a unique hobby program of your choice. Expenses incurred during the course of the program are reimbursed, and upon completion, you're rewarded with additional leave credits on top of what is originally included in your employment contract. 7. The annual Christmas party is a highlight. Some employee prepares musical jamming for performances. Furthermore, company also give exciting raffles which are useful and nice to have. If you’re at luck, CEO and foreign visitors will also pledge some good items which will be very exciting and pleasurable to win. 8. Interactions with other teams are fun. You can easily make friends here especially if you like to go out to relax and have a quick getaway relaxation.

Cons

1. Monetary compensation offered at this company is little above average compared to other same industry competitors within the local area. However, the company currently doesn’t provide guaranteed bonuses, group life insurance, or offer 14th and 15th month pay. Furthermore, while dependent under the HMO is available for children and spouses for free starting at day 1, enrolling a parent as a dependent, even for single employees, will be shouldered by the employee. Moreover, they’re currently in transition to a fulltime on-site reporting, which is also an item for consideration in evaluating your future career decisions. 2. The company offers a program known as "holiday swap", where employees are required to work during special holidays in exchange for accruing leave credits to be utilized during the mandatory two to three-week shutdown period. Despite the holiday swap credit or unlike other companies that provide full coverage of the shutdown period as paid vacation, it is still necessary to allocate 5-7 personal leave credits to cover for the duration. However, this may not be an issue for those intending to take a leave during the Christmas holidays. 3. Despite the emphasis and reiteration on promoting the company's culture and values, best if you could also put barrier or limit in expressing yourself. Regardless of the sincerity, cleanliness, or legitimacy of your intentions, avoid over-sharing personal knowledge or feelings as it may backfire to you negatively in the future. It's crucial to carefully assess or take a keen understanding and observation of the group or person before divulging personal experiences or ventures. Taking these preemptive precautionary measures are strongly suggested and extremely recommended to avoid becoming the subject of scrutiny. Given that the entire employees are consolidated in one floor, once words are circulated, it may be difficult or impossible for you to rectify false information or clarify misunderstandings since no one here can, will, and would control the flow of speculations until it is too late.

Pros

The provision of free food and the hobby program are the only benefits.

Cons

I find it crucial to shed light on the disparity between the company's promoted culture and the actual working environment. The proclaimed culture, often presented as the holy grail, is far from the reality on the ground. While the rhetoric surrounding cultural values is strong, the day-to-day experience reveals an atmosphere that falls short of the ideals communicated. There seems to be a disconnection between what is preached and what is practiced. The actual working culture is, unfortunately, far from the collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environment that is promoted. Instances of favoritism, lack of transparency, and a noticeable divide between certain teams suggest that the proclaimed culture is more of an aspiration than a lived reality.
