Pros
The office is in a nice part of town, and everyone gets their own little office.
Cons
-The workload is very unreliable, and most jobs you are assigned require a government clearance, so that background process takes a couple months (one of mine took 13 months to clear). Therefore, the commissions aren't flowing in like the owner would like new applicants to think. Also, the owner gets around 10k for every placement and only pays 250-500 to the recruiter. -The owner loves to say that none of the employees make under 65k with commissions, but the top performer on our team last year didn't even make that amount. -Also, the owner makes all employees sign a noncompete when hired. And if you ever want to use your work experience and eventually move on to a higher/better paid position, the owner will tell you that if you take the job, they will sue you for damages to their company. There were over 5 people that have quit in the past year (all due to low pay/hostile environment/no remote flexibility), and the owner threatened every one of them with legal action if they left the company to go recruit somewhere else. -The owners also didn't take Covid-19 seriously and would tell us that we were overreacting and that the media was playing up the pandemic. Once they realized it wasn't something to joke about, they were very resistant to allow remote work. They would send out emails saying they are trying to balance their employees’ health with the health of their business and did not see a reason to allow everyone to work from home. Even though our job is 100% capable of being done remotely. -Please take these recent reviews seriously and don't interview with Dunhill in Wilmington! It seems like a great job at first, but you will regret it within the first 2 months. There are plenty of recruiting jobs open right now, don’t choose this one!!
