Pros
Good opportunity for entry level recruiting/gain experience, location and office is nice, great lunch spots close by
Cons
It is unfortunate how bad the management is otherwise this would be a decent entry level role. Toxic work environment where management allows personal beliefs and values to supersede the well being of its staff - poor handling of COVID. We were allowed to work remotely for three months and brought back into the office in June when the environment was still unsafe. A lack of trust in employees keeps management from letting staff work remotely even though the owners are hardly in the office themselves. The environment is SO toxic that when I started my new job I felt like I had PTSD - my current management is extremely positive/uplifting and during the first few months I was waiting to be criticized for something - which still hasn't come, because I am actually appreciated and valued. Management is very reactive and unprofessional. Favoritism, manipulation, and lack of privacy is something you will experience if you work here. Empty promises during the interview process when speaking about salary and commission. Very low pay on commissions for the time you spend recruiting these government roles. Only offer more money when employees put in their notice. Several hard workers throughout this company who receive no incentives or recognition. There is no growth opportunity yet management is surprised when employees leave to pursue other opportunities in order to advance their career. They had a good team while I was there and almost all are gone now. Most have gone on to work in more senior recruiting roles and the owner is pursuing legal action on them although they pose no legitimate threat to this business and work in entirely different industries. This demonstrates greed and narcissism in the worst way.
