Pros

Pros are limited. The main benefit was gaining experience and working with some good coworkers

Cons

Low salaries and pay is not competitive New hires are brought in making more than existing employees with more experience Promised merit increases every year that never happen Company claims there’s no budget for raises, but executives and recruiters get large bonuses “Growth opportunities” just mean more work with no promotion or raise Forced to go into the office just to sit on Zoom meetings with remote teams “Unlimited PTO” is misleading and very hard to actually use (requires multiple approvals) Management is rude, condescending, and unsupportive Employees are overworked and burnout is common Leadership is aware of issues but does nothing to fix them No real opportunity to grow or increase salary

Pros

Great team culture, everyone wants to win

Cons

The industry itself can be incredibly stressful but I imagine its the same for competitors as well.

Pros

Quick opportunity to get promoted if you have the right mentorship and accounts. Honestly really nice employees (cross-functionally) and people are willing to help you. A good place to dip your toes in as a young hire, KPI's are fairly easily but some of the director's are a bit micro-managey.

Cons

In our office - we had 3 Managing Directors and 3 VP's in 3 years with two rounds of layoffs (enterprise wide.) The largest gap in the company is their leadership is so disconnected from the producers and what you truly need to do to succeed in sales. They run on a lot of enterprise accounts which makes it hard as a young sales person to connect with tenured sales people, who haven't truly sold or broken into accounts in some time. Additionally, there are lots of corporate politics and people in leadership that overshare other leaders dirty laundry with young sales folks, making it a bit of an uncomfortable place to be in. I think this place is a good starting zone for a career but it is not the place to be if you are a hustler and want to truly grow as a sales professional.
