Pros
One of the best places to gain rapid experience and growth in your discipline. You have to be prepared to work with the best in this industry when it comes to demanding project work. So naturally, there are high expectations to meet. As for structure, management is okay, but needs to be more refined. Good managers are really good, and okay managers seem unwilling half the time. HR is responsive and somewhat more competent than other places I’ve worked, which is a breath of fresh air. Field work is really where you need to become flexible and resourceful, meaning longer hours and extended stay for some roles.
Cons
Beware, bureaucracy seems to steer a lot of decision making at the higher level. Company should spend more time investing on their emerging workforce, testing ideas, and deploying those that work, rather than sticking to the same formula, hoping that it keeps them afloat. Pay could be higher compared to the amount of work expected from you.
