Pros

Good pay, clean environment, good job market

Cons

Manufacturing employees do not get treated to their full potential. Management just concerned about numbers and talented, smart manufacturing employees have a difficult time learning and advancing in the company. Do not take disabilities into consideration. Management has a "this is not high school" when it comes to bullying therefore has caused some harm to employees both physical and emotional. Favoritism. Credo not used fairly across the board with all employees. Policies sometimes get ignored especially towards advancing and hiring. Leads are known to lie or deny about employees leaving false information to supervisors about great employees. Supervisors and management buy into jealousy

Pros

Excellent work/life balance, working on products that have a meaningful impact on the quality of peoples lives. Compensation is fantastic, and working for a company the actually believes in its guiding document (credo) has its benefits. The people at DePuy are really what makes the organization great - teamwork is excellent and people are generally happy and want to do a good job. The vast majority of management are seasoned leaders. You have the ability to take on as much as you want or as little as you want, but you will be compensated based on your performance so it behooves you to work hard.

Cons

Unfortunately as seasoned leadership leaves, they are generally replaced with young inexperienced MBA's if at all. These are great people, but they have to lean heavily on individual contributors to make sound decisions. As key individual contributors move on decisions are made slower and with less prudence.
