Outstanding company to work for. So much better and different than other public accounting firms I've worked for. Honesty, integrity and outstanding service is discussed regularly and core values are constantly discussed. Personal accountability and growth for employees is constantly discussed to help us all reach our goals. I love working at this company, it's very unique and is the place to be if you want to be rewarded for the effort you put in.

The company is growth minded both internally and externally, which means you have to be able to change and adapt to those changes. For some this can be difficult, but they involve the entire team in regular innovation sessions and implement ideas from all the employees.

- The leaders of the firm care about me as a person and a professional. They want to see me achieve my professional and personal goals. - You have more control over your pay than most public accounting firms. If you want to put in the work they will compensate you for it. - Like all accounting firms you work a lot in busy season but across the whole year total hours worked is probably on the mid to low end of public accounting. That being said the craziness in busy season also allows for more freedom in the off season.

- (not Davies Allen Specific but more industry specific) It is public accounting so you’ll be expected to put in the work during busy season. Which isn’t for everyone. It’s a lot of work and a lot of hours. - Under-performers and people who can’t self motivate will struggle working here and in public accounting in general. - Davies Allen is a place that will expect you to be accountable for the work you're doing. If that’s something that intimidates you, you should probably look elsewhere. If your looking for a place that will give you the honest critical feedback so you can grow as a professional, this will be a great place for you.
