Pros
-Datanyze's strongest suit is its personnel. Yes there are a few outcasts, as in any other company, but the people are truly great. Driven, intelligent, and all hands on deck. -The product has a lot of upside, especially for any engineers coming on board. As in many start-ups, it needs work. However, the team understands this and is willing to listen and implement change, as need be. -Tremendous opportunity to what YOU want to do as a career path. I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to move cross-functionally without much push back. Founders believed in me, and that is rare.
Cons
-Leadership is not as seasoned. Hence, mistakes will happen. To be fair, there have been strong recent additions to the team that are very encouraging for anyone joining the team. -Resources: competing for talent in the Bay Area is tough. Datanyze has a hard time on the hiring front due to this, but those that see the opportunity and join, end up doing well. -Perks: this can improve. The office can continue to look better, stronger 401k program, clear & encouraged unlimited PTO policy.
