The team lead claims that the ways of working are democratic, but its not. The leadership decides pretty much each and every thing that's done and tend to micro manage things, which makes the process highly inefficient and time consuming ending up with long work hours for the entire team. There are numerous levels of reviews for the same document which takes up days and weeks together but finally the team lead would decide what the report should look like and ends up editing each and every word in the report in some cases- definitely not the best use of anyone's time & resource. Changes agreed upon at one stage of the project are mostly always forgotten with last moment changes creating panic for everyone involved, as well as making it difficult to work with external vendors. They claim to be inclusive, but they are NOT- out of the box thinking is hardly ever appreciated, nor are people coming from different backgrounds. There is a lot of favoritism in the team, and an absolute lack of clarity on things. Senior team members are always busy sugarcoating things, as a result of which they would never give you an honest feedback on your work making it very difficult for junior team members to get any clarity.
