Pros
1. Flexible timing 2. Decent salary package for freshers as compared to the frugal benefits of starting as a solo practitioner in the courts in the area. 3. Medical benefits. 4. Work pressure is not too debilitating.
Cons
1. The job does not involve a lot of serious legal work. One just has to have good interpretative skills and a lot and I mean a lot of patience in going through the documents and case judgments she or he is supposed to analyse. It is repetitive and extremely monotonous after a while , but again that's my personal opinion and others might feel differently about the nature of work. 2. Very little exposure to the real world legal scenario; strictly a desk job with little or no involvement with clients. 3. Nepotism. 4. Sluggish growth.
