Pros
I absolutely love working for Danny as a tutor. I started working for him in the fall and I’ve been able to build relationships with many clients and families and now have a lot of clients that I see weekly. It’s a great job to have while you’re in school because you can plan your tutoring schedule around your classes and other commitments. It’s an especially great fit for future teachers, because it allows you to practice your teaching skills in a one on one setting and learn to individualize your teaching style for each student. I know that the skills I’ve gained working as a tutor will help me in the future when I have my own classroom and will benefit my future students as well!
Cons
It’s hard to come up with any cons, honestly. This job is what you make of it. You need to be organized, plan your schedule well, and be on time so that you will be effective and reschedule clients. If you’re able to do that you’ll be successful!
