Pros
Employees are valued and looked at as members of the family. Being a family held company they hire good people and encourage them to do their job. If someone needs tools or training to do their job better, they are provided. It is a good atmosphere where everyone interacts and is respectful of each other. I have never heard anyone raise their voice or belittle anyone else. If there is a problem, employees are encouraged to work it out themselves and if the problem needs it, management will step in to assist.
Cons
Management could be a bit more forthcoming on how the global plans impact the US (and visa-versa) but they do inform the employees on a quarterly basis about what is going on in the rest of the company.
