Over the past few months our CEO has been tied up on many calls and has kept his door closed a lot. Those discussions are progressing steadily, and he will now have the opportunity to once again get more hands-on in the day-to-day management of the business (as opposed to being purely strategic).
Your points about processes are well received. We are continually working on creating more efficient processes. There’s a balance between no meetings / small meetings and looping in way too many people. In this area we’re still experiencing growing pains, but we’ve recently gotten better and hopefully have hit our groove.
We definitely need to do a much better job with exit interviews. I’m sorry we got it wrong with your exit; we will do better in the future.
