Pros

Strong and growing brand recognition in the insurance industry. Good work-life balance. Knowing that you have the opportunity to help people who are effected by a catastrophic event.

Cons

Inept management - Donan could do so much more to improve employee happiness and productivity if they would take action with its management. High turnover- I mean high and in every department. Friction within departments. Salary is low ($50,000-53,000) Commission is paid based on clients home office locations. Which is great for a few but not for the majority of sales managers. Most earn $400-900 per month, while two to there sales managers earn $2,500-4,000 per month because of their location. Favoritism among several of the sales team and management. Installing tracking software on employees phones without informing or explanation. Lack of career advancement.. Even with 300% revenue growth over 6 years and positive reviews from my manager I came to feel unappreciated and promotion was unlikely.

Pros

Initial interview went well. Good follow up and reminders from initial recruiter.

Cons

Will be putting this review on Alpine Intel as well because this is one of those companies who rebranded instead of making substantive changes to a flawed business model.
