Great place to learn a position and take the skills with you for personal growth. Advancement opportunity if you have the initiative to succeed as their is constant turnover and burnout of employees due to senior management lack of support. Many of the people you work with are awesome which can make every day coming to work enjoyable even given by far the cons of the workplace.
Cons
Dish is not a place that puts an emphasis on employee well being and moral, politics to play it safe to protect ones position is obvious to even the newest employees. Risk is not encouraged, not a family friendly employer if you want to advance. Senior management does not provide direction to middle level managers so often is the case one doesnt have clear direction. I see alot of misguided blame put on managers in other reviews for lack of leadership, but the reality is that senior management and the ceo have a lack of trust giving very little clear concise direction to the middle level management that often set individual contributors and middle level management for failure before one event starts.
