Pros
Discount on products (70 percent) and decent pay for a retail. Honestly do not have any other pros I could give to them.
Cons
Where to begin... -no training for in store positions. We were told to go and study the products in our own time. A lot of the products are very potent and need more training to be able to advise customers correctly. I have worked in other beauty retail and was given in house training before ever speaking to a customer. -they will literally hire anyone. One person was hired just because it would look good in the shop not because of that persons skills or knowledge -management is TERRIBLE. People were promoted based on personal favourites not on their skills in management. Also if you have any problems with them don’t you dare bring it up to them, this does not go down well. -disregard for mental health. -bad shop conditions for staff, no safety regs -they would record the shop floor (both visuals and sound) to check up on us without our consent -extremely aggressive and erratic emails, we were literally told NO LAUGHING ON SHOP FLOOR This is truly a terrible place to work and being dismissed was the best thing that could have happened Also if you do choose to work here (why) check your contract as it is all relative to Canadian law and not to your own country’s regulations.
