Pros

Wages are above regional average, which is nice when payroll isn't late.

Cons

I was a staff member at their satellite clinic in Colorado. The way this facility is ran is absolutely appalling. The employee turnover is likely among the highest in the valley, and certainly the highest of any office that I've worked, having 12 years in the medical field. Turnover is secondary to the utter disorganization of the clinic, a terrible phone messaging system, and lack of training among staff. Of my three years of employment there, we had three staff meetings. The lack of communication and reactionary policies that are made are not conducive to a successful practice. There have been multiple times that vendors have cancelled service due to nonpayment (Sanofi and Millenium Labs off the top of my head, just within the last 90 days) and once, WATER was shut off for the same reason. A medical office with no running water, because the utility bill went unpaid. Staff is given little to no time or resources to obtain MRI and medication approvals. This means that patients are sometimes left waiting weeks or months for the care the doctors deem appropriate. I spent a good portion of my time there apologizing for MRI's not getting done and medications not being authorized. It was so embarrassing, and this was a responsibility delegated to specifically to me, with zero time being alotted to accomplish these tasks. I take my job very seriously and it was personally shameful to be failing patients. All of the billing is done off-site and out of state, so if a patient has a billing concern, the best answer we are able to give them is "call this number" - and the billing often does not reflect current patient balances or payments. They have difficulty getting answers from the billing staff in Ohio, and staff has no better luck than patients. This office breeds a culture of hostility and zero communication, which is reflected very obviously in patient care. The higher-ups have rejected requests for help and criticism at very basic levels; every employee and patient pays the price because of it. There are good people here that want to provide the best care for their patients, but their hands are tied by the upper management (R.N. manager, CFO, HR) and owners of this company. Payroll was late on multiple occasions, employees are ridiculed when they ask to take breaks, hostility from upper management is severe, and the general office culture is terrible.
