Pros
Working for the Cultural Intelligence Center has been a fantastic experience and would recommend it to anyone considering working in cross-cultural communications. The company's mission really lines up with how they treat their employees - with respect and understanding for everyone's individual cultural backgrounds. No matter your skin colour, culture, gender, or sexuality, the team strives to honour every employee's individual preferences and needs. I feel proud to be a part of a group striving towards improving the world of international business.
Cons
The team is small but growing which is nice to see as someone who considers herself an extravert. It is also based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan with isn't exactly an exciting city to be working from as we interact with major global clients like Google or Harvard. But even still the subject matter of the work and opportunities to travel make it all worth it.
