Thanks for the feedback. This individual was written up three times for being inappropriate on the phone and leaving less than professional voicemails for the leadership team of our largest supplier. The regional manager for that supplier called us and sent us the voicemail that was left by this individual. He was confused why something so hostile was left on his voicemail. The voicemail was severe enough that the Employment Security Department would not grant this individual their unemployment benefits due to the hostile nature of the voicemail. Also this employee was never asked to work 60 hours per week. This individual would come in early in the mornings and spend half the day being loud and unethical which led to inability to complete tasks that everyone else in the same role was able to complete in that time frame. I hope this individual learns from their past mistakes as they move forward with other positions. There's a certain manner in which you need to conduct yourself in a professional environment and this individual did not possess any of those qualities. We tried to champion this individual and give them the benefit of the doubt for 1.5 years because we value our employees and try to embrace them, but this person was ambivalent and could never rise to the occasion. Lastly, this person did not have benefits with us for very long. Being a small company it's difficult to find insurance consortiums who will accept a small number of employees. We work hard to make sure they have some coverage because again it's important for us to take care of them. Businesses with 50 employees or less are not required to offer health benefits, but from the time of our inception we have worked hard to provide benefits.
