Pros

You get paid at the end of the month.

Cons

Where does one start! The first issue that I must address is the four previous posts that were posted on this site on the 6th April 2017. Does anybody with any common sense really believe that four individual staff members gave a glowing review of the company on the same day. They are all fake and have been posted by senior management who are obsessed by negative reviews on this very site. They simply know the pitfalls and they have reverted to posting fake reviews to give a positive outlook on this company. You are told during the interview process that Cornmarket does NOT do cold-calling. This is a lie and you will find yourself at your phone COLD dialing people constantly during your working day. These people hate the intrusion to their privacy and often say to us 'Why do Irish people call us about our car insurance'. It is a cold-calling scam center that calls senior citizens and vulnerable people. Credit Card Cowboys is a better term for this operation. The location of the office is a joke. Right in the middle of a loyalist estate not very nice if you are from the other side of the political divide in Northern Ireland. Also the traffic in and out of the office is manic. Just stay away. Its a cheap office in a bad sectarian location with poor parking and traffic congestion. The best way to sum this SCAM up, is by looking at your contract of employment. They deduct five pounds from your wages every month for tea, coffee, milk and you guessed it filtered water. What company worth anything to its staff charges them for water that you drink. It falls from the sky for free. A very high turnover of staff with recruitment taking place on a constant basis. Bullying and a strange sense of sectarianism does exist in this office and nobody needs to work in an environment such as this.

Pros

I’ve had a really positive experience since joining Cornmarket. The workplace is welcoming and friendly, and I’ve been given plenty of opportunities to broaden my experience across different areas of the department. The benefits package is a major highlight, with an excellent pension scheme, family leave options, health insurance support, and flexible working. Overall, it’s a company that values it’s people and provides a positive environment for learning and professional growth.

Cons

Workload can be busy at times, particularly during peak periods, but it provides a good opportunity to gain valuable experience.
