Pros

Mediocre pay and endless overtime keeps people there. That’s the only pro I can come up with about this company.

Cons

People you work with. The high priced benefits. High stress. Stress comes from policy changes, supervisors, uneducated staff as well as inmates.

Thank you for your feedback. Corrections can be a challenging and stressful occupation; the personnel in our care do not want to be there, our reward comes from knowing we are performing a necessary public service. Our staff work to better the public good every day by keeping their community safe and caring for the inmates in their facility.

Pros

CC Uses cutting-edge Technologies, which is good experience for resume building; many of the Teams are collaborative; interesting work and you can believe in company goals.

Cons

Director and Manager level mgmt at corporate here do not provide guidance on projects. There is a lot of turnover on data projects because new employees are thrown into the deep end and then just blamed if results are not as expected. CC really needs more hands-on project oversight. There are also behavioral and anger issues with a couple long-time ppl as well, and this is both exhausting and (sometimes) outright humiliating. They need to treat new people better.
