Pros
Ability to learn new techniques and skills with a variety of people from all over the country. This oppurtunity is rewarding in so many ways. The networking capabilities alone if done properly are awesome. Plus, if you like to work under pressure and learn new skills it is simply a great experience.
Cons
There are always going to be snags we hit in new positions and when you are working with possibly a team of people who are all new to you. However, the good is definitely more than the bad. Even for someone like me who encountered a bit of sexism within the role. It hindered me from performing at my peak, but I still enjoyed every moment, and plan to contract again.
