Cons
-Pay: very low offer even with education & relevant experience. Had one paycheck bounce, but the payment to include all fees was ready to be picked up immediately after I notified the office (next business day).
-Residents can be extremely difficult at times and let out their frustration on Staff and other bystanders verbally and physically. (Mandatory training does a great job explaining how to handle these situations)
-Work environment is dependent on how well you and your co-workers communicate and work together. With such a high turnover rate, it's difficult to harness a strong, stable, cohesive team work environment.
-Work hours can be extremely demanding depending on staffing needs (difficult to keep up with the unpredictable waves of turnover in this field). Which places a huge burden on permanent staff to cover these shifts until it's filled by another new hire.
