1. Misleading expectations : although they advertise as a full time or part time job opportunities, they however fail to mention their training period is six months. Also all the hirings get laid off or fired before even completing this period. 2. Lack of proper training: training is rushed and mistakes are not taken lightly, the owner will often point out mistakes publicly, making employees and managers feel demeaned and unsupported. 3. Hostile environment: the owners mood heavily impacts the environment. Employees are often yelled at or sibjected to her anger. The owner apologizes frequently for her behavior but fails to see most of her employees will endure this behavior just to survive the training period and secure a full time position. 4. Contradictory leadership: while during hiring process they emphasize nicness and kidness as their core values, the owners behavior says otherwise. Her actions undermine the supposed culture of niceness, creating an atmosphere of hypocrisy and frustration. Overall the concept of the store and its offerings are appealing, the toxic work environment and lack of proper management overshadows any potential benefits.
