Pros
I worked here as a proofreader for around three years. The only significant advantage was the work-from-home setup, which was convenient.
Cons
* Lack of transparency from management regarding major decisions and organizational changes.
* The shift timing changes were handled poorly. The company had long been known for its night-shift schedule, and many employees had structured their lives around it. The transition to the new timings showed little consideration for the impact on employees, and communication around the change was inadequate.
* Weak leadership at the team level. Employee concerns about unrealistic daily deadlines were raised multiple times, but there was little meaningful support or advocacy from the team lead.
* Frequent experimental changes to processes and infrastructure, many of which did not improve workflows and instead created additional confusion.
* Employees were regularly assigned responsibilities outside their original job roles. What was initially presented as a temporary arrangement continued for nearly a year and remains an ongoing expectation.
* Increasing workloads without hiring enough staff, resulting in employees taking on multiple responsibilities instead of building dedicated teams.
Overall, my experience declined significantly after the organizational changes, and I believe the company needs to improve transparency, management support, workforce planning, and employee appreciation.
