Pros
Legacy company with beautifully-crafted product (albeit made overseas by others), which would be far more successful if it would embrace new ideas as improvement instead of looking at change as the enemy.
Cons
Anyone not a long-term employee, and definitely anyone coming to the company from outside of the San Francisco area is viewed with suspicion. The company’s leadership since late 2022 is incapable of long-term vision and makes reactive decisions based on micro sales results. There is no trust level amongst management, and dissension is met with retaliation. HR is strategically aligned with senior management and not a resource for employees at all.
