As a startup/scaleup, yes, this does mean that not all our processes are 100% in place and in the recruitment process we’re clear about this so everyone joining knows what to expect. We are steadily growing our team to bring in the talent to evolve and develop our benefits and ensure we deliver what we promise.
As a small business we do expect a lot from our people and some of our objectives can require additional hours. However, we make sure that all our teams are well supported and offer TOIL when necessary to ensure everyone is getting the rest they need.
Your comments regarding bullying are of course concerning and I encourage you to reach out to me directly to have a conversation on any specific examples you may have witnessed. We want our people to feel comfortable to communicate all concerns with either the C-Suite or the People Team directly and will deal with any allegations of this nature seriously and in line with our policy.
