Pros

Experience with legacy devices and different SDWAN vendors. Friendly L2/L3 engineers

Cons

These are things that I firsthand experienced when I was employed. 1. Low salary -Someone with a relevant certificate for the job will be offered the same salary as someone who doesn't have one 2. Management doesn't want to hire extra manpower and instead blames the stress of the employees to "lack of training". 3. Forced OT on weekends (12 hour shift) -Again due to lack of manpower 4. Management will say they will do something about the problem soon. -It will take at least 1-2 years to implement and most of the suggestions gets buried under the rug. 5. No dedicated time for training -You will be handling high priority incidents at the same time of your training (with limited labs access). -They can't let you dedicate your time to your training since again, the team lacks manpower. 6. No work/life balance -Your leaves will be questioned by management if you use it frequently. 7. HR is not approachable at all 8. Management only sees you as a ticket count and doesn't consider the complexity/duration of each incident that you are handling. 9. Management won't care what you're handling. They just hand out more work instead 10. Good luck getting your documents when you resign. There are many other horrible things that the other employees experienced. Bad apples are always present in a company however, you can only count the good people inside the Philippine management. I hope this serves as a warning for employees trying for the NOC positions in this company

Pros

Game room/nap room Free meal once a week. Year end party but only in the office. Birthday celebration. All expense paid business trip to country down under for tenured. (not sure of underlying conditions to job tenure) Able to learn new things in IT usually when making mistakes.

Cons

Lowest salary appraisal. Not in par with current job market salary standard. Pre-employment medical exam is on your tab. a First in employment experience. They are that stingy. There is no training but you will be forced to pay for your 'training' to be deducted on your final pay upon separation. Expectations on work but lower or no gain. No bonuses for performance at work. HMO provider after 6 months tenure, sometimes even longer than 6 months. There is no tracker to gauge your progress at work. 'Scoring' is opinion based. HR will not help with government paperwork updates. e,g, BIR changes. No company ID for 5 months or more. No kidding. Schedule changes almost every week. Work applications/tools are introduced only when making mistakes and not within first week of tenure. Politics in office. Erratic accounting on salary. There is no work-life balance. Monitoring application at work is seriously bugged.
