Pros
GTM (Sales/Marketing) Tech is such a fun space to be in, especially at a company that is on the forefront of weaving AI and Signals into GTM motions. As someone who really loves the art of selling and technology, it feels like the perfect place to be, The team is incredible. By far, the most talented coworkers I've ever worked with and I genuinely feel like I learn something every day. Being able to work with and collaborate with team members across Sales, EPD, CS, etc really makes me feel like being a part of an All-Star team. It’s exciting to be surrounded by such sharp, driven people who are all rowing in the same direction. It makes coming to work every day genuinely energizing. All in all, I feel lucky to be part of a company that challenges me, inspires me, and gives me the opportunity to do the most impactful work of my career.
Cons
Every Series B company has areas of opportunity and growth. I've spent my entire career in early-stage companies ranging from Bootstrap -> Series B and Common Room is the one I would, without a doubt, say is the one that feels like it's the one most built for scale with many aspects of the company showing maturity far past the company stage/size. Several incredible, extremely impressive leaders have recently joined the team and have begun to shape the future of their respective departments which I am confident will not only alleviate any cons outlined by other reviews, but also further set the stage for scale and growth to the Series C and beyond. I have no hesitation in saying that this is a company I want to be a part of for the foreseeable future.
