Pros

Awesome direct manager! I have the flexibility to work on projects more or less my own timeline and don't necessarily need to be online from 9 to 5 as long as I attend required meetings and work is done well & on time. I do not feel micromanaged here at all. I also enjoy the work and look forward to producing quality end-results.

Cons

This is a political environment, which I suppose is to be expected in this industry. However, it is often uncomfortable to be in meetings because politics are almost always going to come up (which, to be fair, is often related to the work we are doing). I find I have to pretend to be aligned with my colleagues, very clear and loud, political views or likely face backlash. This is a top-down issue as the executive leadership team has created a culture where this is the norm.
