CoStar Group Response

We appreciate the feedback, and it’s good to hear you absorbed a lot of information. It’s true that the Research Associate role at CoStar Group is the perfect place for individuals interested in commercial real estate to learn a lot about the industry, and as we develop even stronger data and analysis we open new roles and career paths for researchers to become experts in areas like construction and development, retail trends and more. Some changes in Research are made quickly to adjust to the rapid growth our company is experiencing, and we know it can be a bit of a challenge, but those changes help us to figure out the best way possible to meet new needs and ultimately make the research roles and career path more rewarding for our employees. We are constantly working to be open with our researchers to make transitions smooth and to feel comfortable, but also challenged, with their daily tasks. We learn from what we’ve done in the past and will continue to open the lines of communication more as we develop. Thanks again for your feedback, and best of luck to you in your future endeavors.

Pros

I worked for Homes.com - Great first job out of college to learn a lot about sales and can make good money in the first 3 months - FIND PEOPLE THAT HAVE DONE THIS JOB AND HAVE LEFT AND FIGURE OUT WHY CUZ THEY'LL TELL YOU

Cons

I worked for Homes.com - You're doing 3 jobs in one and the pay does not reflect that - it is churn and burn. The average tenure here is 7 months - Management doesn't know what's going on 3/4 of the time. It is all up to the CEO and he's on his private jet more than 3/4 of the time
