CoStar Group Response

I’m sorry to hear you did not have a positive experience at CoStar Group. Based on the information you provided it sounds like you were in a research role, and I can assure you that we do not terminate our researchers often, and when we do it is after a thorough assessment that ultimately leads us to believe it is best for both us and the employee that we part ways. Over the last year we have incorporated a more qualitative assessment of work and have found that researchers are able to develop better relationships with their clients because of the focus on accuracy and completeness, rather than call volume or information units added. While we do have to use metrics measure the efficiency of an employee’s work, first and foremost we want quality information going into our database. We value our employees and if we see them struggling in any way we clearly communicate any issues and work with them closely. We want to see everyone succeed at CoStar Group, but like any position we know the role isn’t the best fit for everyone. We wish you all the best in the future.

Pros

I worked for Homes.com - Great first job out of college to learn a lot about sales and can make good money in the first 3 months - FIND PEOPLE THAT HAVE DONE THIS JOB AND HAVE LEFT AND FIGURE OUT WHY CUZ THEY'LL TELL YOU

Cons

I worked for Homes.com - You're doing 3 jobs in one and the pay does not reflect that - it is churn and burn. The average tenure here is 7 months - Management doesn't know what's going on 3/4 of the time. It is all up to the CEO and he's on his private jet more than 3/4 of the time
