Cloud5 Response
8ySpeaking for the company, we appreciate feedback and always look for ways to improve. What’s important to know, and for some context, is that recently Cloud5 implemented several key strategic changes. The company restructured its Customer Support department, under a new VP of Customer Support, who was promoted from within, to improve efficiency and customer responsiveness. Some employees were affected both directly and indirectly. Change is hard and we understand not everyone will always be happy with every change we make. We do know and appreciate that everyone is working hard – striving to have a culture that is customer and action oriented and where accountability is valued.
That said, the leadership team knows it has and will probably again, fumble along the way. For those times, we take accountability and use each as an opportunity to learn and grow into a better, stronger company. We have an open-door policy and fully encourage everyone to walk into the offices of your boss, execs or HR and share your thoughts and ideas at any time.
Now, speaking for myself as the business unit leader, I couldn’t be prouder of what we have achieved in the last year. But I know there are things we can do better, such as continue to improve employee collaboration and communication. On that note, we are getting ready to launch a program that engages employees on an individual basis to build awareness and ownership of our company mission and what it means to each employee. I’m excited to get started and see the impact across our organization.
Keep in mind this is a public forum and we can’t control the content that’s posted, its veracity or the motivations behind some postings. Having said that, we are very open to constructive feedback whether it comes internally or externally through sites such as Glassdoor. Our goal is to provide the best hospitality communications products and services, and have some fun along the way. That’s what Cloud5 is all about. My door is open --- happy to chat with anyone about the company we’re building, our growth and future direction.
