Pros

Fantastic PTO Challenging projects Knowledgeable higher ups Has a small company feel rather than corporate

Cons

Very low end of the market value compensation for a consultancy High premiums on health insurance Little room for growth Little-to-no trust for junior staff Management/higher level staff berated work on several instances Quite a few micromanagers Was regularly told “everyone is too busy” when asking for guidance High turn over rate adding additional stress to already stressed employees

Pros

Interesting & challenging projects Knowledgeable leaders Good training/learnings in outcomes science Helpful/friendly colleagues Small company- doesn’t have the corporate-y feel of larger companies Generous PTO

Cons

Compensation 30-45% under market for COA knowledgeable and extremely hard working employees doing complex/intense projects Little to no effort to retain good people; tiny incremental raise after consistent positive reviews resulting in morale issues, ie, employees do not feel valued or as though they are compensated fairly No negotiations re salary Therefore, many good employees with extensive knowledge/training left/will leave for better paying positions Health insurance $$ with high premiums

Thank you for your feedback. As a smaller consultancy, we have conducted compensation analyses reflective of our field and feel confident that we are comparable to the market. I am very proud of our retention levels and we work very hard to retain good researchers; however, there is always room to improve. As you've indicated, we invest a lot of time in training and learnings for newer folks so we appreciate that positive comment. - Stacie
