Pros
You get a lot of PTO. Working in a field that helps others was great. Felt like the company had a purpose. I enjoyed my time there for the most part. The trick is to keep to yourself and not get involved in the office drama. I rarely felt stressed and had a good work-life balance here. We would do fun events for the clients and their families, and we had two staff retreats per year. It was fun working there sometimes.
Cons
The insurance and benefits overall were not very good. The pay was very low. There was a lot of office drama and cliques. This felt very much like a stepping stone, rather than a company I could have made a career at. There’s not much room for growth here and the annual raises are very small.
