Pros

Meeting the students was the best part of the job. Also, getting to run our own events and activities for the students. Some the Pueblo days were fun, if they were planned by the right school.

Cons

This felt like a grown-up daycare. We sat in our room all-day with pretty much no autonomy. This would be fine if the pay weren't so atrocious. Mandatory work during breaks in school as well.

Pros

You do very meaningful work and the staff truly care about you and what you are doing.

Cons

School placements can be quite far from where you live, and the days are long (7:30 am - 5 pm). Often is exhausting, but you stay for the kids.
